Where Stephanie was when I first spoke with her

Stephanie Baron is genuinely good at what she does. She runs the only open system colon hydrotherapy studio in Cairns, she healed her own gut health over years of doing the work herself, and she has more than a decade behind her in alternative health and yoga. In person she is disarming. People arrive nervous about a treatment they think is going to be weird, and they leave relaxed, glowing and booking their next visit. She has built a boutique tropical studio that feels nothing like a clinic, and clients feel it the moment they walk in.
The trouble was that none of that was showing up online. She had DIYed her site on GoDaddy, built on stock images, and she knew it wasn't landing. In her own words, her website was letting her down. The business had grown but the website hadn't, and she felt that gap every time she sent someone the link. She wasn't visible enough, and she couldn't clearly explain, in a way people could actually take in, why colon hydrotherapy is worth doing in the first place.
What she was most worried about was losing the very thing that makes people book and rebook. Her passion, her warmth, her personality. She wanted people to land on her site, see her, and feel the same ease they get in the room. Instead she had a site she didn't really want to send anyone to, and a quiet sense that she had outgrown it a while ago.
What the Authority by Design process found
The Authority by Design process starts with the same question every time: what is the gap between how good this business actually is and how the market is currently seeing it? For Stephanie the gap was wide. She wasn't just selling a treatment, she was selling an experience and a whole philosophy, and both of those were completely hidden on her old site.
The positioning session revealed her real point of difference: an open system giving clients privacy and control instead of being watched and talked at, something no one else in Cairns offers. Her studio feels like a boutique tropical retreat, not a clinic, and she's her own proof, having healed herself and now helping others do the same.
From there, the direction was clear. Instead of extreme detox language she doesn't believe in, I led with empowerment, demystifying treatment so a nervous first timer feels at ease before booking. The messaging centred on feeling supported, seen and in control, exactly how her clients describe her. I gave proper space to her services, infrared sauna, and natural hygiene lineage so the right people recognise her expertise.
The site itself was built to do a job, not just look nice: clean structure for instant clarity, a search-ready foundation so people already looking in Cairns can find her, and a platform she can update herself as the business grows.

What Changed

Before, Stephanie was effectively invisible online. Now, when someone in Cairns searches for a colonic, a colon cleanse or colon hydrotherapy, her studio shows up on the first page of Google, and she is the number one result for her own name. Over one hundred different searches now surface her studio, and almost all of that happens without her spending a cent on ads.
In plain terms, Google has become her best salesperson. In the first two months the site appeared in search results around 1,300 times and organic search became her single biggest source of visitors, driving close to half of all traffic. Just as importantly, those visitors stick around: people arriving from Google engage with the site well above average, which tells us the right people are finding her, not just anyone. This is visibility that keeps working while she is in a session or having a day off, instead of relying on her to constantly post to be seen.
Most of all, Stephanie finally has a website she is proud to send people to. It matches the boutique, empowering experience she has always given in person, and she can focus on the work she loves instead of a website that was holding her back.
“Hayley asked me so many questions on our discovery call, it honestly felt like a really fun conversation. Then she worked her magic and created this website. It felt like she knew me better than I knew myself. I just couldn't be more proud of it, it's so perfect. I'd recommend Hayley to anyone wanting a real, professional and inviting presence online. 10 out of 10.”
